What to Expect

An experience like none other; come prepared to throw paint. Messy is going to happen but we have you covered with protective gear; coveralls, goggles and booties (shoes/ socks are to be removed). The paint is washable but we recommend wearing clothes you don’t care about, just in case. Plan for transporting a wet canvas in our special paint boxes, as your masterpiece will not be dry for at least 24 hours.​

Splatter Dop-In

The Splatter Experience allows you to dive straight into the artistic experience,; select the time that works for you, come prepared for laughter, creativity and an enjoyable experience. Invite your family and friends to join you, as the splatter room has space for 10 individuals per session. you will have 30 minutes in the splatter room and take home your splattered canvas. Individual reservations will share the room with other registered individual’s, unless you booked a party.

Splatter Party

Dress for a mess. Where every flick of the wrist becomes a stroke of genius. As the colors fly and laughter fills the air, witness your masterpiece come to life before your eyes. The Splatter experience includes one canvas per individual with forty five minutes in the Splatter Room plus a reserved table for your group for food and presents. Party upgrade options include a Party Charcuterie Box (Serves 6 to 10) and Italian Soda Flights (Serves 12). Additional participants will be +$30 per Person.

Deposit: A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your party booking.

 

Splatter Date

Splatter with a loved one makes a truly memorable experience! The Splatter experience includes 1 large or 2 small canvases with a private Splatter Room; plus the upgrade of a Charcuterie Box for two and two 16 oz coffee house drinks.

Studio Q & A

​

How do I pay for my experience? When you make a reservation, you will select your package and time slot, and then pay online. That’s what locks in your reservation.

 

How many paint colors can we choose from? We have every color under the rainbow; on hand usually around 16 colors to choose from.

What Type of Paint do you Use? We use high-quality, water-based acrylic paints which allow for easy cleanup.

​

Should I purchase additional paint? Depending on group size and how messy you want to get! You might want to consider purchasing additional paint. This can be easily done in person at check-in.

 

Party Invites? When sending invitations to your guests, please include this information; Allow time for parking; parking is conveniently on the street or within steps of two parking garages and guests should be dressed for a mess.

 

Bring your own canvas and tools? Unfortunately you will need to use the canvas, paint and tools included with your reservation. This allows the space to remain safe and guarantees the canvas will fit in the paint box used for transporting a wet canvas.

 

Can we take photos or videos during our splatter session? Private parties may take group photos or videos during the splatter session; ensuring everyone has agreed to be included. Individual groups may take their own photos or videos but must not include other participants in the space. Everyone is encouraged to use Wild Starr’s Photo Wall as a prop for pictures!

What is the Cancellation Policy? No refunds or credit for a missed reservation. Rescheduling can be done with at least 48 hours notice. 

Cancellation with at least 72 hours notice will get a full refund. Cancellation with less than 72 hours notice will not receive a refund.

 

Parties- Cancellations 7 days prior to the date of the party will be eligible for a refund minus a $50 Administrative fee. Deposits are non-refundable due to cancellation or not meeting the minimum guest requirement.

Studio Guidelines

• Online Reservations Required Splatter Room and Parties.

• Reservations include canvas, paint, the required disposable protective gear and special paint box; to safely transport the wet canvas.

• Participants 2 - 8 years will require a parent/ adult to be in the paint room with them (protective gear for observer: ($5.00 per set)

• Participants under the age of 15 will require one parent/ adult to remain on site for the duration of the reservation in case there are any issues. 

• Participants will receive 1 canvas, 4 cups of paint, splatter paint tools..We use high-quality, water-based paints for easy cleanup along with various tools; paintbrushes, plungers, animal prints for different splatter effects.

• The adult who books the party or group package will be required to provide supervision for youth while they are at Wild Starr Creations.

• Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow for parking, checking in, prepping canvas and suiting up in protective gear.

• You should wear clothes you can get paint on; there is a chance paint may get on you and is hard to wash out.

• Individual reservations will most likely be sharing the room with another group, unless you have booked a party.

• Running Late; Please contact us! You may not get the full amount of time if you're more than 5 minutes late; depending on our reservations. Fifteen minutes late is considered a cancellation.

• Prior to entering the splatter room our instructors will go over the splatter room rules and basic instructions on splatter painting techniques, encouraging participants to experiment with different brush strokes, flicking, and dripping the paint onto their canvases.

• Rules must be followed for safety reasons. We will give one warning; after that the person(s) involved will be asked to exit the splatter room. 

• No gum allowed in the studio. No food or drink allowed in the spatter room. 

• Contact us for information regarding outside food and drink guidelines (Alcohol is not Allowed).

• The Splatter Room closes thirty minutes before the rest of the shop to allow staff time to clean up.

• We do not allow in the studio: confetti, silly string, glitter, sparklers, or pets.​
